I wonder what it would mean for the US to attack Syria now that Syria hasn't held up their part of the deal. Would Russia still stand by Syria and intervene? Would this turn into a war between US and Russia? If it did how many allies from each side would also get involved...

They pretty much declared that there was a guarantee we were not going to go to war with Syria... and considering all of the circumstances, now I am really 10x more against it. We do not need another war going on, because of my participation in government class, the war in Afghanistan took forever and we still are not out of there. It is unfortunately a life build around war- so it seems...
