So I'm thinking of buying black carpet for my bedroom just because I think it would look really nice. One thing that makes me unsure of whether or not to buy it is that my bedroom is the hottest room of the apartment both in winter and in the summer. In the winter because it's right above the boilers and in the summer because I only have one window A/C unit for the entire apartment and the bedroom is the furthest from the unit. With that being said I think that having black carpet might make it even more unbearable heat-wise. Do you think it would make that much of a difference? I really like this black carpet I found and it's only 2.18/sqft. :hmm:

Black carpet would make the room look really dark. You should get hot pink.

Yeah but I have two dogs and a mechanic for a boyfriend so between those two factors anything that's not dark in color will become dark and blotchy within weeks and I don't have a real steam cleaner machine just a spot cleaner. Also, pink's not my thang. Lol. =3

Well, you won't see the dirt as much....
Just make sure if you do, you have brighter walls, otherwise your room will look like a fancy cave with a bed and lights.. :P
